Customer Service Rep, Call Center / Support
We are seeking a WFH Call Center Representative for a contract opportunity supporting customer care operations in the energy and utilities industry. This remote customer service role is ideal for someone who enjoys helping customers, solving problems, and working in a high-volume call center environment.
Key Responsibilities- Answer a high volume of inbound customer calls in a professional, accurate, and customer-focused manner.
- Assist customers with billing questions, account maintenance, payment arrangements, service requests, transfers, and disconnects.
- Provide information about utility programs, energy-saving initiatives, assistance programs, and outage updates.
- Troubleshoot basic service concerns and coordinate with internal teams or field operations when needed.
- Accurately document customer interactions, account updates, and issue resolution details in company systems.
- Meet established goals for quality, productivity, compliance, and customer satisfaction.
- Pay rate: $22.00 per hour.

Must reside within commuting distance of the assigned support center near Chester, VA. - Training:
Comprehensive training provided. - For temporary assignments lasting 13 weeks or longer, Apple One is pleased to offer major medical, dental, vision, 401k and any statutory sick pay where required.
- Handle inbound customer service calls related to utility billing, account support, service changes, and payment options.
- Document customer interactions and account updates accurately across multiple systems.
- Resolve customer concerns while following company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Support outage communications and coordinate basic service issue follow-up when needed.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Minimum 6 months of customer service experience required.
- 1 to 2 years of customer support, client care, or call center experience preferred for success in this role.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced call center environment with high call volume.
- Strong active listening, problem-solving, and customer resolution skills.
- Proficient computer navigation, typing, and data entry skills.
- Ability to multitask and work across multiple systems simultaneously.
- Must be dependable, detail-oriented, and able to follow established procedures.
- Must reside within commuting distance of the assigned support center.
- Previous call center experience.
- Experience in utility, energy, telecommunications, banking, retail customer service, or another regulated customer support environment.
- Experience handling billing inquiries, payment questions, and account management.
- Previous work-from-home experience.
- Ability to adapt quickly to training, coaching, system updates, and changing customer needs.
