About the Role
Our client is seeking a passionate and experienced Remote Travel Consultant specializing in adventure tourism to join their fully remote team. Based anywhere in South Africa, you will be responsible for designing bespoke adventure travel itineraries for clients, leveraging your expertise and passion for exploration. This role requires deep knowledge of adventure destinations, excellent client communication skills, and the ability to craft unique, thrilling travel experiences.
You will be instrumental in inspiring and guiding clients through the planning process, ensuring their adventure dreams become a reality.
- Design and customize adventure travel itineraries based on client preferences, budgets, and desired experiences.
- Provide expert advice and recommendations on destinations, activities, accommodations, and logistics.
- Manage client inquiries, bookings, and provide pre-travel information and support.
- Research and stay updated on global adventure travel trends, destinations, and operators.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring repeat business and referrals.
- Handle any issues or emergencies that may arise during a client's trip, providing timely solutions.
- Proven experience as a Travel Consultant , with a specialization in adventure or specialized tourism.
- In-depth knowledge of various adventure travel destinations and activities worldwide.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and customer service skills.
- Proficiency in using travel booking systems and relevant software.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote setting.
- Passion for travel and creating extraordinary client experiences.
