ABOUT

THE ROLE

You will be a member of our multi-disciplinarysustainabilityteam, collaborating with design and technical leadership as an integral part of project teams across the firm. Under the direct supervision of oursustainabilityleadership, the primary responsibilities will include the following:

HERE'S WHAT YOU'LL DO
  • Manage/facilitate/coordinate sustainable design strategies formultipleinstitutional andcommercialbuilding design and construction projects.
  • Manage thedocumentationprocess for rating systems and standards, primarily

    LEED.
  • Guide the sustainable design process through workshops, design charrettes, stakeholderengagementetc.
  • Research materials, systems, and approaches toimprove the health and wellness ofour projects.
  • Facilitate in-house design team and client meetings.
  • Perform building energy andlife cycle analysis.
  • May visit job site to verify conditions and document construction for LEEDetcrequirements. Site visitsfrequentlyrequire a physical walk-through ofsite.
  • Recommend ways to improve our process,quality and coordination efforts.
  • May perform related duties as required.
HERE'S WHAT YOU'LL NEED
  • Minimum Bachelor's degree required. Bachelor's Degree in Architecture, Engineering, or Environmental Design preferred.
  • Minimum 6+ years of relevant experience required.
  • LEEDAPBD+Crequired,additionalcertificationsa plus.
  • Healthcare, Higher Education and/or K-12 typology experience preferred.
  • Strong sustainability portfolio is essential as arestrong communication, teamwork, presentation, graphics, organizationalskillsand the ability to handle multiple projects.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Able to effectively handle multiple projects.
  • Experience in energy analysis software (e.g.eQUEST, Energy Plus) preferred.
  • Experience with life cycle assessment (e.g.Tally, One-Click LCA, Athena) preferred.

The salary range for this position is $73,800 to $92,200 annually. This salary range is the range we believe is the anticipated range of possible base compensation at the timing of the posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the anticipated salary range for the position. Employees may be eligible for discretionary bonuses. We offer a full benefit package including medical, dental and vision coverage and flexible spending account options and voluntary insurances.
