About the JobThe Healthcare Project Manager leads the planning, execution, and successful completion of our healthcare projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in architecture or design, with specific experience in healthcare facilities. This role requires exceptional project management skills, an understanding of healthcare operations and regulations, and the ability to work collaboratively with clients, consultants, and internal teams.
This is a hybrid role with an expectation of being in-office a minimum of two days per week, which should be on one of the Firm’s anchor days:
Tuesday, Wednesday, and/or Thursday.

- Lead the execution of healthcare architecture and design projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, consultants, and stakeholders, maintaining strong relationships and ensuring clear communication throughout the project lifecycle.
- Coordinate and oversee the work of project teams, including architects, designers, engineers, and contractors, to ensure cohesive and efficient project delivery.
- Develop and manage detailed project plans, schedules, budgets, and documentation, adapting as needed to meet changing requirements and challenges.
- Ensure all project activities comply with relevant laws, regulations, and healthcare standards, including safety and accessibility requirements.
- Provide thoughtful expertise and deep understanding of MEP, structural, and vendor coordination on healthcare projects with a variety of project delivery methodologies.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers and stakeholders to understand their needs, workflows, and patient care philosophies, integrating these insights into project design and execution.
- Facilitate project meetings and presentations, effectively communicating project status, milestones, and outcomes to all stakeholders.
- Identify and manage project risks, implementing mitigation strategies to minimize impact on project objectives.
- Contribute to the firm's knowledge base and expertise in healthcare design, staying informed of industry trends, innovations, and best practices.
- Provide mentorship to the team and participate in Healthcare Studio initiatives.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture or Interior Architecture
- Proficiency in project management software such as Jira and Deltek, as well as design and drafting tools such as AutoCAD, Revit, and BIM.
- Professional certification in project management (e.g., PMP) or architecture/design (e.g., AIA, NCIDQ) is preferred.
- Competitive starting base salary from $98,000 to $157,000 tailored to experience, skill, and location
