Job Title:
Landscape Architect Hybrid working role
Salary €45K – €60K DOE
North Dublin
We are seeking a creative and technically skilled Landscape Architect to design, plan, and manage outdoor spaces and landscapes. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the natural environment, strong design abilities, and expertise in working with both urban and rural landscapes. The Landscape Architect will collaborate with clients, engineers, urban planners, and environmentalists to develop plans that balance aesthetic appeal, functionality, and environmental sustainability.
You will need to be familiar with the Irish Planning System and have experience on Irish Housing Developments.

- Design and Planning
:
Create detailed designs and plans for outdoor spaces such as parks, gardens, commercial spaces, and residential areas. - Site Analysis
:
Conduct environmental assessments and site analysis, taking into account factors like topography, soil conditions, existing vegetation, and local climate. - Project Management
:
Oversee the implementation of landscape projects from concept through construction, ensuring they meet deadlines, budgets, and quality standards. - Collaboration
:
Work closely with architects, civil engineers, and urban planners to integrate landscape designs into broader infrastructure projects. - Sustainability
:
Incorporate principles of sustainability, including the use of native plants, water conservation methods, and environmentally-friendly construction practices. - Client Interaction
:
Meet with clients to understand their needs and preferences, providing design concepts, cost estimates, and project timelines. - Regulatory Compliance
:
Ensure that designs comply with local, state, and national regulations, particularly regarding environmental impact and zoning laws. - Computer-Aided Design (CAD):
Utilize CAD software and other design tools to create detailed plans and presentations. - Bidding and Construction Documentation
:
Prepare detailed construction drawings, specifications, and cost estimates for bidding and contractor selection.
- Education
:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture or related field. - Experience
: 3+ years of experience in landscape design, urban planning, or related fields, at least 1 years experience in Ireland. - Skills
:
- Strong design and conceptual thinking abilities.
- Proficiency in CAD software, Adobe Creative Suite, and 3D rendering tools.
- Knowledge of horticulture, sustainable design, and environmental conservation.
- Excellent communication skills for collaborating with clients and team members.
- Strong project management and organizational skills.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
