Job Description

This role involves drafting in Revit, converting the Project Architect's sketches into digital drawings, revising these drawings, researching materials, maintaining and updating architectural product and sample libraries, meeting with product representatives, and delivering drawings and materials to clients, consultants, and government agencies. The individual will support the Project Architect and Project Manager in all project aspects and will be trained to take on project management responsibilities with some oversight from the Project Architect.

Responsibilities

+ Draft in Revit and convert the Project Architect's sketches into digital drawings.

+ Revise drawings as needed.

+ Research materials and update the architectural product and sample libraries.

+ Meet with product representatives to discuss new materials and products.

+ Deliver drawings and materials to clients, consultants, and government agencies.

+ Support the Project Architect and Project Manager in all project aspects.

+ Train to take on project management responsibilities under the guidance of the Project Architect.

Essential Skills

+ Proficiency in Revit.

+ Project management skills.

+ Design and architecture expertise.

+ 10 years of experience as an architectural designer.

+ Experience managing a project with oversight from an Architect.

+ 5 years of experience with Revit.

Skills & Qualifications

+ Experience meeting with clients and presenting project progress externally.

Work Environment

The work environment is primarily in-office with some flexibility for occasional hybrid or work-from-home days after training. The positive work environment offers career growth opportunities, and the position is open due to someone advancing into a new role with more responsibilities. This role provides the chance to learn how to run projects without requiring an architecture license.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of York, PA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $40.00/hr.
