Project Designer

We are seeking an individual with 1 – 3 years of experience to join our vibrant and growing team. You’ll be working in our Miami, Florida office, which operates like a start-up, but with the backing of a nationally recognized education-focused firm. You won’t just observe, you’ll contribute, lead, and learn the business of architecture early in the process. Celebrating our 15th year, we have grown to 27 people, serving clients across New England, Maryland, Illinois and Florida.

You will have the opportunity to work with this team virtually, and one-on-one with our Miami Manager in-person as part of a hybrid role. We have a portfolio that focuses on higher education planning and design, but increasingly includes labs, research, institutional, governmental, corporate workplace, and private residential projects.

You’ll gain early career experience by gaining ownership of real tasks (not just redlines), seeing projects from concept, to client interaction, followed by project execution. You’ll gain understanding of why decisions are made, not just how. We value employees that bring issues to our attention, with potential solutions in hand. Proficiency with Revit is preferred. Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, Sketch Up, and Rhino is a benefit.

Other familiarity with software is a bonus!
