Location: Jacksonville, FL (relocation assistance available)

Compensation: $115,000 - $150,000 annually, plus full benefits

A nationally recognized leader in design-build construction
, specializing in large-scale Department of Defense (DoD) and federal projects is seeking a Federal Project Architect to lead and manage all phases of building and structure design projects, from planning through delivery. This is a key leadership role within our Architecture Department, reporting directly to the Director of Architecture and overseeing a team of Project Architects, Architects, and Junior Architects.

What You’ll Do:
  • Lead multidisciplinary design teams through all project phases.
  • Manage project schedules, budgets, and deliverables for federal and military facilities.
  • Oversee production of drawings, documentation, and specifications using Revit, AutoCAD, Sketch Up, and other design tools.
  • Coordinate with consultants, stakeholders, and internal teams to ensure design excellence.
  • Drive compliance with DoD, UFC, and federal building standards
    .
What We’re Looking For:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Architecture (required).
  • Architectural License (CA preferred).
  • 20+ years of experience in architectural design and project delivery, ideally in a design-build environment.
  • Strong technical skills with Revit, AutoCAD, Sketch Up, and Specs Intact
    .
  • Experience managing DoD or large-scale ($50M–$100M+) projects highly preferred.
  • LEED GA required; LEED AP preferred.
