Senior Project Architect Job Description
- Lead design efforts for large-scale healthcare projects, including new inpatient tower construction and infrastructure upgrades.
- Ensure compliance with building codes, specifications, and construction administration.
- Coordinate with teams, consultants, and stakeholders to ensure project success.
- Maintain quality control and assurance throughout the project lifecycle.
- Oversee seismic retrofitting and renovation efforts while maintaining active hospital operations.
- 10+ years of experience preferred, with a minimum of 5+ years focused on inpatient healthcare.
- Seattle industry experience required.
- Licensed architect with strong technical expertise.
- Proficient in Revit, Rhino + Grasshopper, and Adobe Suite.
- In-depth knowledge of building codes, specifications, and construction administration.
Skills & Qualifications
- LEED GA certification required within 6 months if not already held.
- Must obtain one additional certification within a year, such as LEED AP, WELL AP, or Passive House.
- Experience with complex medical facilities is advantageous.
This position follows a hybrid schedule, requiring in-office presence on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday, with remote work available on Wednesday and Friday. Flexibility is important as offsite meetings may occasionally affect the weekly routine. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $110000.00 - $150000.00/yr.
