Our ambitions are too big to leave room for individual egos, and the true measure of our success is what we can accomplish together. Our culture balances individual aspirations and accountability with each other. We value selflessness, humility, and tremendous work ethic. This drives an inspiration and dedication that can be felt across the organization.
The PersonTallwave seeks out individuals who are a cut above. Their exceptional skill, diverse perspectives, obsession for winning together, and relentless pursuit of continuous self‑improvement, both professionally and personally, give them an innate ability to lead, innovate, and inspire. TheJob
We’re looking for a Product Designer who enjoys turning complexity into clarity. This role is well suited to someone who has a solid design foundation and is ready to deepen their skills by working on real, complex products – particularly B2B and internal‑facing web applications.
Success in this role comes from careful thinking, strong attention to detail, and the ability to understand how people navigate systems, make decisions, and get work done. This is a fully remote position.
What You’ll Be Doing- Designing parts of end‑to‑end product experiences for complex digital products
- Working closely with product managers, engineers, strategists, and other designers to understand problems and shape solutions
- Translating workflows, requirements, and data into clear, usable interfaces
- Creating wireframes, flows, prototypes, and design documentation that support delivery
- Working within established design systems and contributing to their ongoing improvement
- Participating in critiques and reviews, learning how to explain and refine your design decisions
- Remote, with core working hours aligned to Eastern Time
- Strong attention to detail and pride in producing thoughtful, well‑structured design work
- The ability to think through complex scenarios, edge cases, and constraints
- A bias toward cognitive empathy – understanding what users need to know, decide, or accomplish
- Comfort asking questions, taking feedback, and iterating on your work
- Clear communication skills and a collaborative mindset
- A portfolio that shows how you approach problems, not just final screens
- Experience contributing to real, shipped digital products (agency or in‑house)
- Some exposure to B2B, enterprise, or internal tools
- Experience collaborating with engineers and product partners
- Familiarity with design systems and component‑based design
- Confidence working on web‑based applications
- You’ll work alongside experienced designers who will support your development and help you build confidence
- You’ll take ownership of meaningful parts of larger products, with increasing responsibility over time
- You’ll gain hands‑on experience designing systems‑heavy products where usability really matters
- You’ll learn how to present, explain, and evolve your work in real‑world delivery contexts
We care more about how you think than how polished something looks. When sharing your work, we’re especially interested in:
- The problem you were solving and your role in it
- How you approached constraints and complexity
- Examples of iteration, learning, or refinement
