Specifically, we seek a motivated architect and designer with a minimum of 8 years of professional experience., ideally with cultural and educational projects. The ideal candidate is passionate about thoughtful, high-quality design and brings proven experience in project management, team collaboration, and mentorship. A strong sense of curiosity, adaptability and a willingness to take on new challenges are essential.
NOTE:
This opportunity is for remote talent that resides local to the DC/MD/VA metro area only.
Roles & Responsibilities
ability to analyze and prepare a code report, applicable to the project
by project technical staff and other organizations (i.e., consultants, clients) for
constructability and present to AOR for review
progressive drawing review, coordination and project meetings – both internal
and external under direction of AOR
prioritizing project tasks and requirements with support from the AOR
reporting to AOR
from the comfort of your home within a reliable and consistent schedule
Required Proficiencies
1. Revit 2022 proficiency as it relates to construction document production, BIM
modeling, consultant coordination and AutoCAD integration if required
2. General understanding for daily use the following: MS Office, Adobe products
Essential Professional Practice Skills
1. An excellent command of English, both written and spoken
2. Ability to communicate with, lead and direct team members of any skillset
Minimum Education & Training
1. Bachelor’s degree in Architecture (or related field) from an accredited university
2. Minimum 8 years of professional working experience
