About the RoleWe are a global event agency working with major brands. Our Event Technology & Registration team partners with world‑shaping brands to design and execute events, from large digital experiences to in‑person gatherings. As a Senior Event Technology Project Manager you will lead project management for event registration and digital platforms, manage vendors and attendee registration processes, supervise Opus employees, and deliver memorable experiences for Fortune 100 & 500 clients.
Qualifications- 5+ years of experience in event or related project management roles.
- Proven experience in registration management from discovery to execution.
- Preferred experience with event management tools such as Rainfocus, Swoogo, Stova, Cvent, Eventbase, Airtable.
- Preferred experience with group housing, session content management, and session scanning/lead retrieval.
- Bachelor’s degree from a four‑year institution is preferred.
- Strong critical‑thinking, organizational, and analytical skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks.
- Comfortable in a fast‑paced, high‑stress environment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite (Excel strongly preferred).
- Ability to create and maintain technical specifications and project plans.
- Act as primary contact for clients, stakeholders, and vendors for all event technology and registration work streams.
- Lead event technology and registration for small to mid‑sized projects, while serving as workstream lead on larger projects.
- Manage multiple concurrent projects and oversee assigned tasks across various event types.
- Create and maintain workback schedules and project plans.
- Lead and support planning, execution, and closeout of attendee‑facing technology projects – registration websites, content/session scheduling, session scanning, exhibitor and speaker resource centers, mobile apps, and customer‑service tools.
- Demonstrate proficiency in digital platforms, advise on configuration best practices, and consult on user experience.
- Develop and maintain internal process documentation to ensure team alignment and adherence to established procedures.
- Translate business objectives into detailed technical specs, documented processes, and project plans.
- Lead recurring client and team meetings, participate in platform demos, and engage in technical discussions.
- Identify risks, develop mitigation strategies, and elevate critical issues to senior management.
- Deliver projects on time and within budgetary constraints.
- Oversee complex onsite deployments (badge pick‑up, session scanning, etc.).
- Participate in internal training, create resources, and recommend process and resource improvements.
- Supervise project team members from the Event Technology & Registration team.
- Supervise temporary staff deployed onsite at events.

The starting salary for this role is between $66,000 and $78,000, based on market analysis and individual factors such as experience and business need.
