AI Visual Merchandising, Senior Associate

Salary Range: $83,500 - $92,250 per year.

The above base pay range may vary depending on location, job-related knowledge, skills and experience. The range listed is just one component of Wayfair’s total compensation package for employees. Depending on the position offered, equity, bonuses, commissions and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a comprehensive suite of medical, financial and additional benefits.

This position is a hybrid in-office role that works out of our Boston HQ (Tuesday-Thursday will be working in office and Monday and Friday is work from home). This is not a virtual / remote position.

We are seeking an AI Stylist & Digital Visual Merchandiser to pioneer the intersection of interior design and generative technology.

Unlike traditional styling roles, this position sits at the heart of our Digital Center of Excellence. You will be responsible for "digital staging" using advanced AI to create hyper‑realistic, brand‑consistent room sets that inspire our customers. You aren't just generating images; you are architecturalizing the visual future of the home industry, ensuring our products are showcased with the same precision and "soul" found in our physical showrooms.

• Prompt Architecture:
  Develop and maintain systems and expert proficiency in Weavy, Runway, Midjourney
  8. Extensive experience in AI‑assisted retouching and composite work. You will direct lighting, spatial composition, and architectural styles to ensure total alignment with the SRB brands aesthetic.

• Rapid Prototyping & Concepting:
  Drive the "Initial Vision" phase by generating high‑fidelity lifestyle concepts. You will iterate through thousands of iterations to find the "hero" shots that define our seasonal lookbooks and digital floorsets.

• Advanced Image Synthesis:
  Master in painting and out painting workflows to transform raw AI outputs into production‑ready assets. This includes adding specific SRB textile patterns, correcting furniture joinery, and ensuring perspective alignment is architecturally sound.

• Hybrid Production Workflows:
  Seamlessly integrate AI‑generated environments with professional post‑production suites (Adobe Photoshop/Lightroom). You will ensure that digital textures—from the grain of white oak to the weave of a Belgian linen—meet the tactile standards of a premium home brand.

• Experience:
  
  5+ years in Home Styling, Visual Merchandising within a high‑volume ecommerce or luxury home environment.
• Technical Mastery:
  Expert proficiency in Weavy, Runway, Midjourney
  8. Extensive experience in AI‑assisted retouching and composite work.
• Software
  
  Skills:
  
  Mastery of Adobe Creative Cloud. Familiarity with 3D rendering software (Blender, Clo3D, or V‑Ray) is a significant plus.
• Education:
  
  BFA in Interior Design, Graphic Design, or a related field—or equivalent professional experience in the digital arts.
• Portfolio:
  Must demonstrate a sophisticated "Home" portfolio featuring both traditional design work and advanced, photorealistic AI‑generated lifestyle content.
