Position Summary
Senior Content Designer – Fraud Prevention Tools role collaborates with UX Designers, Product Owners, Engineering, and Researchers to design inclusive, empathetic content that simplifies complex financial experiences and builds trust in fraud prevention products.
Responsibilities- Perform specialized content design work and develop business expertise.
- Lead projects or programs within the content design family, overseeing moderate‑scope initiatives.
- Analyze, evaluate, and make decisions within general parameters, under broad supervision.
- Serve as a subject‑matter resource for entry‑level and developing colleagues.
- Plan and write UX content for web and app experiences, including navigation and UI copy, emails, push, and in‑app notifications.
- Manage multiple simultaneous projects by setting stakeholder expectations, prioritizing tasks, and collaborating across teams.
- Partner with product designers on UI flows, layouts, hierarchy, and interactions.
- Gather and apply data‑driven insights about customer needs and pain points to craft user‑centered design solutions.
- Use data and research to evaluate the impact of solutions and advocate for continuous improvement.
- Minimum: 3+ years relevant experience and a Bachelor’s degree, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Preferred: 5+ years of relevant experience writing and designing for digital products.
- Experience navigating complex technologies, sensitive data, and highly regulated domains such as financial services, payments, security, healthcare, or advertising technology.
- Experience with evolving and defining content standards, style and terminology guidelines.
- Familiarity with localization and accessibility best practices.
- Working knowledge of Figma or similar design tools.
- Experience or interest in designing with and for generative AI/LLM‑based systems.
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in English, Journalism, Communications, Marketing, Design, Information Science or related field preferred.
Base salary: $89,000 – $127,600 per year (Austin, Texas). Potential for annual performance bonus, equity, and other incentive compensation. Pay Pal offers a hybrid work model with 3 days in office and 2 days remote/work‑from‑home.
