Position: Senior Product Designer (Remote or Hybrid)

Senior Product Designer

We are a leading national consumer finance company with a strong legacy of stability and performance. Following our recent acquisition and the appointment of a new CEO, we are entering an exciting period of transformation—shifting toward a high-growth, tech-forward, and entrepreneurial future. We’re building a new generation of Auto Lending products—from a Dealer Portal and Loan Originations platform to a full Dealer Management System and CRM, with future plans for direct-to-consumer auto loans and refinance products.

These are greenfield, high-impact initiatives that will fundamentally shape how dealers and consumers interact with auto financing.

We are seeking a Senior Product Designer to serve as the first dedicated UX designer within this product portfolio. This role offers rare end-to-end ownership of the user experience and the opportunity to design products from concept through launch in a collaborative, fast-moving environment.

Key Responsibilities Product & UX Design
  • Lead end-to-end design for multiple Flagship auto lending products, from initial concept to shipped feature – including Dealer Portal, Originations platform, DMS, and CRM.
  • Translate complex financial, operational, and compliance-driven workflows into intuitive, efficient user experiences that reduce friction for dealers and internal agents alike.
  • Create user flows, wireframes, low- and high-fidelity mockups, and interactive prototypes using Figma.
  • Define, evolve, and maintain a scalable design system and component library shared across all auto lending products.
  • Partner closely with Product Managers, Engineering, and cross‑functional stakeholders to shape requirements, challenge assumptions, and advocate for user‑centered solutions.
  • Facilitate design critiques, reviews, and design sprint activities to drive alignment and continuous improvement with cross‑functional stakeholders.
User Research & Usability Testing
  • Plan, recruit, and conduct usability testing sessions with automotive dealer partners to validate designs and uncover friction points early.
  • Conduct research sessions with internal agents using the Originations platform, DMS and CRM to understand workflows, pain points, and opportunities for operational efficiency.
  • Perform discovery research, including interviews, contextual inquiry, and shadowing, to build deep empathy for dealer and internal user needs.
  • Synthesize qualitative insights into actionable design and product recommendations.
Who You Are

The User Advocate: You consistently champion the end user while balancing business goals, technical constraints, and delivery timelines.

The Systems Thinker: You can break down complex workflows and design scalable patterns that work across multiple products and personas.

The Collaborator: You communicate clearly and confidently with Product, Engineering, and business stakeholders to drive strong design outcomes.

The Builder: You thrive in greenfield environments, enjoy ambiguity, and take ownership of shaping products from the ground up.

Qualifications Experience
  • 5+ years of experience designing digital products, preferably in complex or regulated environments.
  • A portfolio that demonstrates strong product thinking, attention to detail, and thoughtful design execution.
Skills & Abilities
  • Proficiency with Figma and modern design workflows.
  • Experience with usability testing platforms (e.g., User Testing or equivalent).
  • Strong understanding of UX principles, interaction design, and visual hierarchy.
  • Ability to adopt and leverage AI tools to improve design quality and efficiency.
  • Curiosity and genuine interest in how design impacts real people’s financial lives.
Location & Work Schedule

Location: This role offers a hybrid work schedule and is preferred for candidates to be in or willing to commute to our offices in Chadds Ford, PA, Coppell, TX, or Tempe, AZ.

Work Schedule: Hybrid or remote options available based on location and business needs.

Why Join Us?

This is a unique opportunity to help define the design foundation of a rapidly evolving auto finance technology platform. You’ll play a critical role in shaping products used by dealers and internal teams nationwide—while working alongside motivated, cross‑functional partners and accelerating your own career in product design.
