We are seeking a Botanist, Horticulturist, or Landscape Architect to design and select plants for our sustainable greenhouse that will be integrated into our open source food production structures. Learn more about these structures here: /
SKILL REQUIREMENTS- Bachelor of Landscape Architecture, Botany, Plant Science, or a related degree (or near completion)
- Access to AutoCAD and other necessary design software
- Good mechanical aptitude and excellent problem-solving skills
- Excellent documentation and communication skills in a remote work setting
- Comfortable with, or willing to learn, Google Docs and Dropbox for collaboration
- Minimum of 10 weekly volunteer hours (work from home)
- Minimum 3-month time commitment
- Experience working with structures designed for food production
- Experience in sustainability-related design

This role will help in ensuring optimal plant health and productivity by analyzing plant-specific requirements and integrating them into our greenhouse design and operations.
