Overview

Lutsko Associates, an accomplished landscape design firm of 14 professionals, focuses on contemporary issues involving culture, art and ecology. We are looking for innovative people with strong academic credentials and an interest in a rigorous approach to these design topics.

The office is run in an informal open studio format, with a given team working on all aspects of a project from inception to completion. Our current work includes residential, public/institutional, and rural/agrarian projects. We are a close and supportive team of design professionals who are committed to maintaining a healthy work/life balance.

Position available immediately.

Desired candidate will demonstrate a strong architectural-design approach, with a sensitivity and understanding to the environment. A skill set consisting of strong communication skills, ability to manage and schedule multiple projects, taking initiative in the development of projects effectively, and demonstration of familiarity with construction means and practices are required. The candidate should also possess professional experience in schematics, design development, and construction document packages.

The ideal candidate must reside within commuting distance of our San Francisco office. The firm offers an option to work from home one day per week, valuing a healthy balance between life and work through a hybrid schedule and a short commute.

4-6 years of design and drafting and 2-4 years in project management is required, with full project lifecycle experience in a Landscape Architecture studio.
