Architectural Associate

BONSAI is an Architect-Led Design+Build firm out of Denver, CO. We are a full service Architect and General Contractor. Our focus is on high performance - single family, light commercial, mixed-use and multi-family projects. We deliver turnkey, transparent and high performance Architecture + Construction services, and as such require motivated, proactive and responsible individuals to join our team.

We are looking for an Architectural Associate (Level II or III) with an interest in Design + Build. Construction experiance not necessary as we will train a motivated individual with a strong Architectural background.

Requirements:

• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Capable of simultaneously supporting multiple projects of varying scales and stages of design and construction.
• Understands how to participate in design and execute decisions through clear documentation.
• Ability to research project/jurisdiction specific Zoning + Building Codes.
• Knowledgeable in building construction systems, means and methods, accessibility and life safety.
• Proficient in Revit and Bluebeam. Some knowledge of Lumion + Adobe Suite is ideal.
• Ability to assemble architectural + interior drawings and specifications, and coordinate structural, landscape, civil consultants.
• Entrepreneurial and self-motivated.
