This challenging, fast- paced project interior design position focuses on K-12 educational projects and requires experience in designing interiors for educational, health care, or large- scale corporate facilities. The role involves leading design and documentation of interior spaces and working collaboratively with project designers, production architects, and engineers.
Responsibilities- Lead all project phases from initial development to completion, including design and documentation of interior spaces.
- Develop design concepts and advance them through all design phases.
- Select interior finish materials, create specifications, and produce finish material boards.
- Apply space planning, codes, and mechanical system knowledge to support design strategies.
- Produce construction documentation, administer construction, and review submittals.
- Minimum 7 years of professional experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design or Interior Architecture from a CIDA-accredited program.
- Demonstrated knowledge of Furniture, Fixtures, and Equipment (FF&E) processes.
- Excellent communication skills and presentation ability to clients.
- Proficiency in Revit + Enscape or Sketch Up + Lumion, Adobe Photoshop & InDesign, Bluebeam Revu, and Office 365.
- NCIDQ Interior Designer registration, preferably in Texas (TBAE), is a plus.
- Experience in educational, sports, health care, and corporate design strongly preferred.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines while maintaining diplomatic client service.
Base salary range for California locations is $67,597.00 to $, plus potential discretionary bonuses and a full range of medical, financial, and other benefits.
