We are seeking a talented and motivated Designer to join our growing team in Chicago. This position will play a key role in developing prototype designs for some of the hospitality industry's most recognized brands, including Hyatt, Wyndham, Holiday Inn, and Hilton. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys collaborating with clients and leadership, and is eager to contribute to a dynamic and expanding organization.
Qualifications- Bachelor’s degree in interior design, or related field, from a CIDA accredited university. Associate Degree in Interior Design may be considered based on professional experience.
- 2-4 years of professional design experience, within hospitality, commercial interiors, architecture, or prototype design.
- Experience working with established brand standards and prototype-driven projects.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact professionally with clients, brand representatives, and company leadership.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD

Experience with
Sketch Up, particularly with the Enscape plug-in
, to create immersive 3D visualizations. - Proficiency in Adobe In Design and Photoshop for creating captivating design presentations.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, including Word and Excel, for document creation and organization.
- Ability to write detailed custom FF+E specifications for hospitality grade product.
- Understanding of brand prototype FF+E specifications. Familiarity with procurement processes to assist Operations department.
- Review hotel brand design standards
- Develop hospitality layouts and design packages
- Coordinate with architects, owners, franchisees, and brand representatives
- Attend design review meetings
- Produce drawings and specifications
- Support prototype development for future hotel projects
- Develop and execute prototype designs for hospitality and commercial projects.
- Collaborate closely with ownership, brand representatives, and internal teams to ensure design standards and project objectives are met.
- Create design concepts, drawings, specifications, and supporting documentation.
- Participate in project meetings and presentations with clients and stakeholders.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to support project timelines and deliverables.
- Incorporate brand standards and client requirements into design solutions.
- Assist with prototype development and refinement for national hospitality brands.
