Monday-Wednesday in office, Thursday-Friday remote

We are seeking a talented and motivated Designer to join our growing team in Chicago. This position will play a key role in developing prototype designs for some of the hospitality industry's most recognized brands, including Hyatt, Wyndham, Holiday Inn, and Hilton. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys collaborating with clients and leadership, and is eager to contribute to a dynamic and expanding organization.

• Bachelor’s degree in interior design, or related field, from a CIDA accredited university. Associate Degree in Interior Design may be considered based on professional experience.
• 2-4 years of professional design experience, within hospitality, commercial interiors, architecture, or prototype design.
• Experience working with established brand standards and prototype-driven projects.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact professionally with clients, brand representatives, and company leadership.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD

  Experience with
  Sketch Up, particularly with the Enscape plug-in
  , to create immersive 3D visualizations.
• Proficiency in Adobe In Design and Photoshop for creating captivating design presentations.
• Strong Microsoft Office skills, including Word and Excel, for document creation and organization.
• Ability to write detailed custom FF+E specifications for hospitality grade product.
• Understanding of brand prototype FF+E specifications. Familiarity with procurement processes to assist Operations department.
• Review hotel brand design standards
• Develop hospitality layouts and design packages
• Coordinate with architects, owners, franchisees, and brand representatives
• Attend design review meetings
• Produce drawings and specifications
• Support prototype development for future hotel projects

• Develop and execute prototype designs for hospitality and commercial projects.
• Collaborate closely with ownership, brand representatives, and internal teams to ensure design standards and project objectives are met.
• Create design concepts, drawings, specifications, and supporting documentation.
• Participate in project meetings and presentations with clients and stakeholders.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to support project timelines and deliverables.
• Incorporate brand standards and client requirements into design solutions.
• Assist with prototype development and refinement for national hospitality brands.
