Position SummaryTriad Architects is seeking an Architectural Designer I to join our growing team. This position is ideal for a motivated design professional with two to four years of experience who is eager to gain exposure to all phases of project delivery. The successful candidate will work closely with project managers, architects, and interior designers to support projects from planning and design through construction administration.
Architectural licensure is not required for this position, and we encourage candidates who are pursuing registration.
Responsibilities- Assist with the planning, design, and documentation of projects across multiple sectors, primarily focusing on K-12 education.
- Develop and maintain Revit models and construction documents.
- Produce drawings, renderings, graphics, and presentation materials.
- Coordinate with project team members and consultants throughout all phases of design.
- Participate in client meetings, field investigations, and project coordination activities.
- Conduct construction administration duties, including:
- Site visits and construction observations
- Responding to Requests for Information (RFIs)
- Reviewing submittals and shop drawings
- Assisting with punch list reviews and project closeout activities
- Support project teams with research, code review, and design studies.
- Contribute to a collaborative and creative studio environment.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture from an accredited program.
- Two to four years of professional experience in an architecture firm preferred.
- Architectural licensure is not required, but desire to pursue licensure is preferred.
- Proficiency in Revit is required.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign, is required.
- Proficiency in Enscape is preferred.
- Strong graphic, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Desire to learn and gain experience across all phases of architectural practice.
