We need a designer who can play three‑dimensional chess on the axes of customer needs and engineering feasibility, keeping things elegantly simple.

We are looking for a senior designer who can create useful and easy‑to‑use streaming experiences. The ideal candidate has extensive experience on consumer‑facing products, drives concepts from ideation to launch, and balances design excellence with rapid, self‑directed progress. The role requires the ability to work in fast‑paced, ambiguous environments and to influence stakeholder decisions based on UX principles and data.

• Explore design directions and analyze the pros and cons of each to create thoughtful design solutions
• Communicate user experience at various stages of the design process with wireframes, flow diagrams, mockups, specs, and lightweight prototypes
• Provide and receive feedback through regular design critiques with peers, cross‑functionals, and leadership
• Balance qualitative and quantitative data to make user‑centered design decisions
• Analyze and document interaction models and detailed case logic
• Partner with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders to understand requirements and build unique experiences that inform, entertain, and delight customers
• Contribute at every step of the product life‑cycle from discovery, research, ideation, and AB tests
• Partner with User Researchers to determine and execute the best research methods for gathering customer insights or evaluating designs
• Drive changes, refinements, and improvements to the user experience
• Operate independently, taking initiative and driving projects to completion without extensive guidance
• Facilitate quick and effective decision‑making, ensuring efficient progress and alignment within the team
• 6+ years of relevant experience in UX Design
• Proficiency in Figma
• A passion for the end‑to‑end user experience
• Strong analytical skills to navigate complex interaction paths and use cases
• Strong visual design skills for high‑fidelity, near‑implementation‑ready designs
• Experience with streaming TV UIs and TV experiences
• Experience collaborating with designers, researchers, product managers, and engineers throughout the design process
• Excellent communication, facilitation, presentation, interpersonal, and analytical skills
• Excellent problem‑solving skills and relentless attention to detail
• Ability to operate effectively in a dynamic, self‑managing environment
• Confidence in decision‑making while carefully evaluating tradeoffs
• Flexibility and adaptability in navigating change and ambiguity
• Actively builds with AI—creating workflows, tools, or resources that improve team effectiveness
• Excited about AI’s potential to elevate the craft of UX and eager to adapt as the technology evolves

Teams work in the office Monday through Thursday. Fridays are flexible for remote work unless the role requires full‑time office presence. This position requires on‑site work in Santa Monica.
