Senior Product Designer - AI​/Agentic Workflows @ Samsara; Remote

Senior Product Designer – responsible for end‑to‑end design of AI‑driven features, collaborating closely with product, engineering, and customers to ensure high-impact, user‑centered solutions.

• Own the UX for a product area or surface, delivering high‑impact designs that unlock significant customer and business value.
• Collaborate closely with product and engineering on strategy, planning, and execution.
• Work directly with customers to understand needs, validate designs, and inform strategy.
• Provide expertise and knowledge transfer to samsara's internal design team.
• Deliver all agreed‑upon project deliverables on time and to specification.

• 5+ years of product design experience creating UX/UI for web and mobile applications.
• Direct experience designing AI or agentic workflow products strongly preferred.
• Strong interaction and visual design skills.
• Portfolio and/or case studies showcasing design craft and quantified impact – required for consideration.
• Proficiency with AI tools (e.g., Cursor, Claude, Figma Make).
• Experience prototyping in real codebases; comfort working in Git Hub.
• Proven experience in fast‑paced, high‑growth environments.
• Strong cross‑functional collaboration skills.

• High craft combined with pragmatic, proactive execution.
• Comfortable with 0→1 and early‑stage work where the path isn’t fully defined.
• Self‑directed and resourceful – can identify needed actions and move them forward independently.
• Refined taste, strong product instincts, and a bias toward solving real customer problems elegantly.
• Curious, hands‑on, and resilient – able to zoom out strategically and zoom in to deliver polished work.
