We’re seeking an Architectural Designer at the junior to intermediate level to join our team.
Responsibilities- The role will focus on supporting the design development, documentation, coordination and construction of a new, ground-up single family residential project.
- The ideal candidate possesses a strong design sensibility, a deep interest in material craftsmanship, baseline technical understanding of building assemblies.
- Minimum education:
B.Arch - 1‑5 years of post graduate work experience
- Motivated, curious and proactive with strong design skills
- Organized, collaborative, and a reliable team player and willingness to learn
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Rhino, Adobe Creative Suite
- Ability to maintain and develop precise 3D digital models and 2D drawing sets
- Excellent verbal, written, visual communication skills
- Consultant Coordination
- Experience with Construction Documents
- High craft and physical model making abilities and hand sketching abilities
- Keen interest in working with creative private residential projects
- Legal work status in the US
Our studio operates in a hybrid work schedule:
Primarily in person at the Brooklyn office alongside other team members, with remote working days aligned to individual schedule and project needs.
Start date:
Immediate
Compensation: $68,000 - $96,000 or $32/hr to $46/hr commensurate with previous professional experience
