The RoleAs a Cold-Formed Steel Framing Modeler (MWF), you will create accurate BIM models for steel framing systems using Revit and the MWF (Metal Wood Framer) add‑in. Your role involves interpreting project specifications and design information to ensure constructible, high‑quality models that support prefabrication and cross‑disciplinary coordination. You will work autonomously, identifying and resolving conflicts during the modeling process and ensuring the final product meets client expectations.
Key Responsibilities- Modeling:
Develop accurate cold‑formed steel framing models using Revit with the MWF add‑in, including panel layouts, shop drawings, and cutting lists for prefabrication. - Review and Analysis:
Analyze project documents—such as architectural and structural drawings, specifications, and submittals—to ensure high‑quality, accurate, and constructible designs. - Conflict Resolution:
Identify and resolve potential conflicts during the modeling process and throughout project coordination to meet client requirements.
- Experience:
At least 2 years of experience in cold‑formed steel framing or structural modeling. - Software
Skills:
Revit experience is required; hands‑on use of the MWF (Metal Wood Framer) add‑in is highly desirable. - Education:
A degree or technical certification in Architecture, Civil/Structural Engineering, or a related field is preferred. - Language
Skills:
A proficient or advanced level of English is required.
