icon incar is a leading design company specializing in product-focused solutions for the automotive UX space. The team creates next-generation in-vehicle HMI, show cars, and immersive mobility experiences by integrating light, sound, haptics, and visual content.
Responsibilities- Build trusted relationships with clients and act as a day-to-day design partner.
- Facilitate workshops, presentations, and design reviews to align stakeholders and design direction.
- Translate client and business needs into clear design solutions and actionable tasks.
- Coordinate design activities across multidisciplinary teams, including UX, UI, 3D, engineering, and production.
- Lead the production phase of UI projects, from refining concepts to creating high-fidelity layouts and final asset delivery.
- Build, maintain, and scale design systems and component libraries in Figma.
- Prepare and manage development handovers, ensuring design quality and intent are preserved in implementation.
- Establish and maintain production standards, workflows, and quality assurance processes.
- Understand technical constraints of automotive platforms (HMI) and collaborate with developers to find production-ready solutions.
- Mentor and support other designers in UI craftsmanship, tools, and best practices.
- Collaborate with international teams across Europe and the Americas.
- Degree in Design or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 5+ Years of experience designing and delivering digital user interfaces for complex products.
- Strong experience with design systems, component libraries, and developer handovers.
- Advanced, expert-level software skills in Figma (including variables, auto‑layout, and components) and Photoshop.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain design decisions to different audiences.
- Experience facilitating client discussions and managing stakeholder expectations.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to navigate ambiguity and competing priorities.
- Collaborative mindset, empathy, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Fluent in Spanish; good English skills.
- Nice to have:
Experience with Cinema4D, After Effects, Proto Pie, Rive, and Automotive Industry (HMI production).
