Remote Visual Design Fellow: AI & Brand Storytelling

Overview

Handshake is recruiting exceptional visual design professionals who have a keen eye for aesthetics.

As a Handshake AI fellowship participant, you’ll help advance the creative capabilities of Large Language Models (LLMs) in visual storytelling, brand design, and professional communication. The Handshake AI Fellowship program runs all year, with opportunities varying by design specialization.

• The position is remote and asynchronous - work independently from wherever you are.
• Flexible hours and the ability to work remotely, with no minimum commitment to hours.
• Project work includes and is not limited to developing domain-specific prompts/inputs and evaluating LLM responses.
• Dedicate time researching topics that are interesting to you, with the assistance of AI.
• Learn new skills while contributing to the changing world of AI across various disciplines.
• Placement into a project will be dependent on project availability.

• Must have a bachelor's degree and have at least 2+ years of work experience in design
• Must have full-time work experience as a brand designer, product designer, digital designer, visual designer, creative or art directors
• Must have a design portfolio to showcase
• Ability to work independently and asynchronously within a distributed team and with AI research partners.
• Belief that your creative insight can surpass current AI in visualizing and explaining business concepts.
