Project Architect

Overview

Project Architect role at an established architectural practice specialising in bespoke high-end residential design. Based in Berkshire. Lead the delivery of prestigious residential schemes, work closely with discerning private clients, and be part of a collaborative, design-focused practice known for delivering exceptional homes.

• Lead the delivery of bespoke, high-value residential projects from concept through to completion
• Work within a collaborative and supportive studio that values creativity, quality, and innovation

• Manage the day-to-day delivery of bespoke residential projects across all RIBA work stages
• Coordinate project teams, consultants, contractors, and clients to ensure smooth project delivery
• Develop and produce high-quality design proposals, technical packages, specifications, and construction information
• Monitor project programmes, budgets, resources, and quality standards throughout the project lifecycle
• Lead consultant coordination and resolve technical and design challenges as projects progress
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and key stakeholders
• Support and mentor junior members of the team where appropriate
• Promote sustainable design principles and contribute to the delivery of environmentally responsible projects

• ARB-registered Architect with proven UK project delivery experience
• Demonstrable experience delivering high-end private residential projects through multiple RIBA stages
• Strong technical knowledge with the ability to coordinate complex residential schemes
• Confident managing client relationships, consultants, and project teams
• Excellent communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills
• Experience using Vectorworks would be advantageous
• Good understanding of sustainable design principles, with Passivhaus knowledge or certification considered beneficial
• Commercial awareness with the ability to balance design quality, programme requirements, and project budgets
