Structural Design Technician

Position can be remote or near client office. Remote position justified because the role does not require client and contractor face-to-face interaction, and coordination on the project is already executed remotely. Conversion after six months would be ideal. Client

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Minimum 5 years of drafting/design experience in the structural field
• At least 1 year of Revit experience
• Preference of experience in light manufacturing facility design
• Experience working on traditional steel and concrete structures
• Experience with Navisworks and Bluebeam
• Strong communication skills both verbal and written

Responsibilities:

• Maintain effective communications with department members and higher management
• Perform 3D modeling in Revit
• Assist in creation of contract drawings
