About the Role

Lodge Link is looking for a Senior Product Designer to help shape the future of Lodge Link’s web and mobile platforms. This is a senior individual contributor role with design leadership and mentorship expectations. You will be responsible for designing customer‑centered, scalable, and consistent product experiences across Lodge Link’s digital ecosystem. You will work closely with Product, Engineering, Customer Success, Operations, Commercial, Marketing, and other cross‑functional teams to understand complex workforce travel needs and translate them into elegant, practical, and high‑impact product solutions.

The ideal candidate is not just a strong visual designer. They are a product‑mindful designer who works from customer problems, uses research and data to inform decisions, applies strong interaction and design system discipline, and follows through from discovery to delivery. The Senior Product Designer will bring clarity to ambiguous problems, influence product direction, mentor other members of the design team, improve experience quality, and help raise the maturity of design practices across the organization.

This role is in Scottsdale and is in‑office with 20% flexibility to work from home.

Responsibilities
  • Own the end‑to‑end user experience for assigned product areas across Lodge Link’s web and mobile platforms, from discovery through delivery and post‑launch optimization.
  • Work from customer, operator, supplier, and business problems to frame opportunities, define experience principles, and design scalable product solutions.
  • Design for complex, multi‑stakeholder workflows involving customers, travelers, coordinators, suppliers, internal operators, and financial processes.
  • Conduct and synthesize user research, stakeholder interviews, workflow analysis, usability testing, and customer feedback to inform design direction.
  • Partner closely with Product Managers, Engineering, Customer Success, Operations, Commercial, and Marketing to shape product strategy, prioritize opportunities, and make informed trade‑off decisions.
  • Provide design leadership within cross‑functional product teams by bringing customer evidence, design judgment, and clear recommendations into product and engineering discussions.
  • Create journey maps, service flows, wireframes, prototypes, interaction models, high‑fidelity designs, and design specifications that clearly communicate intended experiences.
  • Apply, maintain, and evolve design system components, UI patterns, accessibility standards, and interaction guidelines across web and mobile experiences.
  • Identify where existing patterns should be reused, where new patterns are needed, and where inconsistency is creating customer or operational friction.
  • Validate concepts quickly through prototypes, usability testing, data, and stakeholder feedback; iterate based on evidence.
  • Support engineering delivery through clear documentation, design collaboration, design QA, and timely follow‑through on open questions and implementation issues.
  • Identify usability gaps, workflow inefficiencies, and operational friction across the platform and recommend practical improvements.
  • Help create efficiencies through reusable design patterns, standardized UI frameworks, and thoughtful design system governance.
  • Mentor and support other designers by providing thoughtful design critique, sharing best practices, helping improve craft quality, and modeling strong discovery, design system, documentation, and delivery practices.
  • Contribute to a stronger design culture through critique, pattern discipline, research practices, mentorship, and cross‑functional collaboration.
  • Communicate design decisions, risks, trade‑offs, and recommendations clearly to peers, stakeholders, and leaders.
  • Other duties as required.
