Remote Technical Designer

We're looking for a Remote Technical Designer to join our growing team. In this fully remote role, you'll transform architectural plans into accurate, high-quality design layouts while collaborating with customers, architects, builders, and our internal design team. As a Remote Technical Designer, you'll play a key role in supporting our customers and project teams by:

• Reading and interpreting architectural blueprints and construction documents.
• Analyzing structural load requirements and design specifications.
• Creating accurate layout drawings using industry-leading design software.
• Collaborating with customers, architects, builders, and internal teams to ensure project success.
• Preparing project quotes and estimates.
• Maintaining accurate project documentation and updating SharePoint.
• Reviewing design layouts completed by technical team members and providing constructive feedback.
• Coordinating and maintaining the Design Center schedule.
• Responding to technical questions and providing exceptional customer support.
• Assisting with special projects and other responsibilities as assigned.

Associate degree from a two-year college or technical school preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and related experience. Six months to one year of drafting, design, construction, engineering, or related experience preferred. Experience with Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software required. Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook). Experience with Bis Track is a plus, but not required.

Strong analytical and mathematical skills. Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications. Excellent organizational and time-management skills. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Customer-focused mindset with a commitment to delivering exceptional service. Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining exceptional attention to detail.
