Overview
We are representing a reputable and established Architecture firm in Charlotte, seeking a Project Architect to support all assignments from start to finish, contributing to key phases including schematic design, construction documentation, and contract administration across multiple sectors such as Higher Education, K‑12, Healthcare, Workplace, Science & Discovery, Multifamily, Industrial, Civic and Mixed Use.
Responsibilities- Lead the delivery of multiple small, medium and large‑scale projects from concept design through construction administration, ensuring design excellence, technical quality, and successful outcomes.
- Serve as the primary client contact, collaborating with principals, project managers, and project controls to define scope, schedule, budget, staffing and work plans.
- Direct multidisciplinary teams through all design and documentation phases, ensuring design intent is maintained and building systems are coordinated to achieve project goals.
- Develop and present architectural concepts, including space, block and adjacency studies, balancing client requirements, program, functionality, aesthetics and budget.
- Lead coordination meetings with owner, consultants, contractors and the site, fostering collaboration to resolve issues and maintain progress.
- Monitor project performance, ensuring compliance with firm‑wide delivery standards and building strong client relationships through leadership, communication and organization.
- 5–15 years of experience in project architecture, preferably across multiple phases.
- Experience delivering projects in a cross‑functional team environment.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills with internal and external teams.
- Proficient with Revit and related BIM tools.
- Salary: $110,000 – $150,000, dependent on experience.
- Flexible work schedule; 1–2 days working from home per week.
