Full Stack Designer - Commercial Products

Candidate should have an interest in working on B2B products and have exposure to design systems.
Responsibilities &

Qualifications:

Ability to identify issues and problems, generate solutions and choose appropriate alternatives using basic root cause analysis
Highly Proficient ergonomics experience (Heuristic evaluation, Criteria development)
Highly Proficient prototyping skills (software and/or hardware development experience a plus)
Highly Proficient experience in usability testing (developing and executing test protocols)
Highly Proficient understanding of technology and the product development life-cycle
Highly Proficient with common design tools like Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign, Sketch, Figma
Strong portfolio with work samples showcasing expertise in user interface design, craft, aesthetics, and depth of thought
Open to feedback, knows how give and receive criticism, and how and when to defend design decisions
Demonstrated experience in developing dynamic presentations in support of design strategy
Experience working with research teams and applying insights into quick, iterative design improvements.
Interest in helping to develop/mentor junior talent within the team

Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Warren, MI.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $60.00 - $75.00/hr.
