Join our team as a Design System Lead, where you'll oversee the strategic development and governance of design-system practices. This hybrid/remote contract position requires collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure consistent, scalable, and accessible digital experiences. You'll work with a variety of technologies to bridge design and engineering efforts.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and evolve the platform design-system roadmap in alignment with product goals and accessibility expectations.
• Champion design-system adoption within the platform, ensuring consistent use of patterns and components.
• Partner with design, engineering, and product teams to meet user and business needs.
• Apply knowledge of front-end technologies to evaluate implementation feasibility and support collaboration with engineering partners.
• Build and maintain platform documentation to promote best practices and consistent adoption.

Qualifications

• 5 years of experience in design systems, product design, or a related digital product discipline.
• Proven track record of contributing to design-system adoption for a product area or platform.
• Working knowledge of front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern component frameworks.
• Understanding of CI/CD concepts relevant to design-system delivery.
• Strong understanding of design principles, UI/UX best practices, and accessibility standards.
