Senior CAD / BIM Specialist (AutoCAD / Revit) Contract 6+ Months

Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior CAD / BIM Specialist to support a large-scale facilities and real estate program. This is a remote contract opportunity, focused on developing, updating, and validating as-built drawings while contributing to Building Information Modeling (BIM) workflows across infrastructure and operational environments. The ideal candidate has strong hands-on experience with AutoCAD and Autodesk Revit, along with real-world experience in facility documentation—not just design concepts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, update, and maintain accurate as-built drawings for facilities and infrastructure.
• Review and interpret architectural, engineering drawings, and floor plans.
• Work extensively with AutoCAD and Autodesk tools (Revit preferred).
• Support and contribute to BIM workflows, standards, and documentation.
• Ensure consistency, accuracy, and quality of facility documentation.
• Collaborate remotely with engineering, facilities, and project teams.
• Validate and update drawings based on site conditions and field inputs.
• Manage drawing revisions, redlines, and documentation updates.

Required

Skills & Experience:

• Strong hands-on experience with AutoCAD (must-have).
• Experience with Revit / BIM modeling (highly preferred).
• Proven experience creating and maintaining as-built drawings (critical).
• Ability to read and interpret architectural and engineering drawings.
• Experience working with facilities, buildings, or infrastructure environments.
• Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment.

Preferred Experience:

• Experience in transportation, rail, or large infrastructure projects.
• Exposure to BIM standards, processes, and lifecycle workflows.
• Experience supporting facilities management or real estate documentation.
• Familiarity with station layouts or operational facility environments.
