EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY: PROJECT DESIGNER
CBLH Design is seeking a Designer to join our growing, creative team. We are looking for a self-motivated and collaborative individual who is passionate about design and eager to grow professionally within a team-based environment.
As a Designer at CBLH Design, you will work alongside Principals, Project Managers, Project Architects and Interior Designers on a diverse range of projects from initial concepts through construction. This position offers the opportunity to develop your technical and design skills while contributing to meaningful projects that improve lives through design.
Whether your background is in architecture or interior design, you'll have the opportunity to collaborate across disciplines, participate in client meetings, explore creative design solutions and gain experience throughout all phases of project delivery.
This is a full-time, in-office position.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist in the planning, design and development of architectural and interior design solutions for projects of varying sizes and complexities.
- Develop presentation materials, renderings, visualizations and graphics that effectively communicate design concepts.
- Prepare design drawings, construction documents and project models using Autodesk Revit.
- Participate in space planning, programming, material selection and design studies as appropriate to project needs.
- Coordinate architectural and interior design work with engineering consultants and other members of the project team.
- Conduct site visits to document existing conditions and participate in periodic construction site observations.
- Assist with Construction Administration activities, including submittal reviews, RFIs and field documentation.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 0–5 years of professional experience in architecture or interior design.
- Professional degree in Architecture or Interior Design from an accredited university.
- Working knowledge of Autodesk Revit preferred.
- Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite, Enscape, Twinmotion or other visualization software.
- Strong graphic, verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple assignments in a collaborative environment.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Desire to learn, accept feedback and continue developing professionally.
- Interest in working across a variety of project types and design challenges.
