The position is ideal for a self-starter who takes ownership of their work, communicates clearly, and thrives in a fast-paced, design-focused environment.

Responsibilities

+ Develop and coordinate architectural designs from initial concept through construction completion for technology, advanced manufacturing, laboratory, mission critical, and data center projects.

+ Produce, manage, and maintain comprehensive construction documents using Revit, ensuring accuracy, clarity, and consistency across all drawings and models.

+ Work directly within active Revit models and contribute immediately to ongoing project production and documentation.

+ Coordinate effectively with engineering consultants and specialty disciplines to integrate architectural and engineering systems into cohesive project solutions.

+ Interface directly with clients, contractors, building officials, and other project stakeholders to communicate design intent, resolve issues, and maintain strong working relationships.

+ Participate in client meetings and project presentations, clearly articulating design concepts, technical solutions, and project progress.

+ Perform construction administration activities, including site visits (as required), field observations, and documentation of construction progress and conformance to design intent.

+ Review and process submittals, requests for information (RFIs), and change orders, ensuring timely responses and alignment with project requirements and codes.

+ Ensure project quality, technical accuracy, and compliance with applicable building codes, permitting requirements, and industry standards.

+ Support multiple projects simultaneously, managing priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

+ Contribute to project planning and scheduling, helping to define milestones, deliverables, and resource needs to support successful project delivery.

+ Collaborate with team members in a remote environment, sharing knowledge, coordinating tasks, and supporting overall project success.

+ Provide leadership and mentoring to less experienced team members where applicable, fostering growth in design, documentation, and professional skills.

Essential Skills

+ Minimum 7 years of architectural experience.

+ Advanced proficiency in Revit with the ability to work as an expert user and contribute immediately within active Revit models.

+ Strong understanding of construction documentation, detailing, and the full lifecycle of architectural project delivery.

+ Demonstrated experience supporting one or more of the following project types: mission critical facilities, data centers, advanced manufacturing facilities, technology buildings, or laboratory facilities.

+ Solid knowledge of building codes and permitting requirements and the ability to apply them to design and documentation.

+ Proficiency in coordinating multidisciplinary consultant teams, including structural, mechanical, electrical, and specialty disciplines.

+ Proven construction administration experience, including reviewing submittals, RFIs, and change orders and conducting field observations.

+ Strong communication and presentation skills, with demonstrated client-facing experience.

+ Self-directed, accountable work style with the ability to operate effectively with limited supervision.

+ Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to manage multiple concurrent projects and deadlines.

+ Ability to work effectively and consistently in a fully remote environment.
