Our team is passionate about shaping spaces through the thoughtful integration of light, and we’re looking for a Senior Lighting Designer (4–7 years of experience) to join us in delivering innovative, high-profile work.

- Collaborate with principals, associates, and clients on the development of lighting design concepts.
- Translate design concepts into detailed documentation: drawings, fixture specifications, schedules, and calculations.
- Prepare and present design materials to clients and project teams.
- Review construction submittals, respond to contractor questions, and participate in site visits.
- Conduct fixture focusing, aiming, and lighting controls programming during construction.
- Mentor and support junior designers, contributing to a culture of learning.
Required
- 4–7 years of professional experience in architectural lighting design (not theater or entertainment)
- Proficiency in Revit for design documentation and coordination
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Adobe Suite, and rendering/modeling software (Sketch Up, Rhino, 3ds Max, V-Ray)
- Experience with AGI
32 or other lighting calculation tools - Strong design sensibility and portfolio demonstrating architectural project work
- Excellent communication, organizational, and time-management skills
Preferred
- Degree in Architecture, Interior Design, Lighting Design, or a related field
- NCQLP LC, LEED, or WELL credentials (or interest in pursuing)
- Location: Manhattan, NY (Hybrid: 4 days onsite, 1 day remote)
- Salary: Exact compensation commensurate with ability and experience.
