We are looking for a Junior Associate Designer to join our team to join our Footwear department. This is
a great opportunity for those looking to be a part of an energetic, creative, and collaborative group.
Our designers have been shaping our department for the better season after season.
Responsibilities:
- Design ownership over selected licensed brands and assigned to you based on your aesthetic and creative strengths, responsible for CADing full seasonal collections.
- CAD work for various private label accounts, typically fun prints with understanding of brand DNA.
- Conduct trend research and market analysis to inform design direction and ensure relevance in the market.
- Work closely with design director and senior designers with creative freedom throughout process
- Communicate effectively with international offices and factories to ensure seamless production.
- Work closely with product development team so they properly develop your design the way you envision
- Conduct sourcing, trend research, and competitive shopping to stay on top of market trends and innovation.
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of industry experience
- Associate or bachelor’s degree preferred
- Ability to meet deadlines
- Development mindset, wanting to grow and learn
- Ability to be agile while working in a fast-paced environment
- Impeccable work ethic

NY Pay Transparency:
The pay range for this position is ($50,000 – $60,000) based on skills and experience.
