The OpportunityWe're seeking a licensed Architect to join our growing Buildings Practice in Dallas, Texas. This is an opportunity to take ownership of projects, build lasting client relationships, mentor emerging professionals, and help grow RS&H's Buildings Practice in one of the nation's strongest commercial markets.
This position offers a flexible hybrid work schedule, providing a balance of in-office collaboration and remote work.
What You'll DoAs an Architect, you'll lead and support projects through all phases of design while partnering closely with clients and multidisciplinary teams.
Responsibilities Include- Lead architectural design from planning through construction administration.
- Prepare and oversee construction documents, specifications, and client presentations.
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, interior designers, and consultants to deliver integrated design solutions.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships while supporting business development and proposal efforts.
- Guide project schedules, budgets, quality, and technical execution.
- Mentor junior staff and contribute to a collaborative, high-performing team culture.
- Participate in client meetings, design reviews, and construction site observations.
- Professional degree in Architecture from an NAAB-accredited program.
- 7+ years of architectural experience.
- Active architectural license in good standing.
- Experience with corporate workplace, healthcare, commercial office, financial institutions, industrial, logistics and distribution
- Proven ability to lead projects through all phases of design and construction.
- Strong knowledge of building codes, life safety, and accessibility requirements.
- Proficiency with Revit and AutoCAD.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and relationship-building skills.
- Passion for mentoring others and delivering exceptional client service.
