M & M Home Contractors Inc is looking for a talented and driven Interior Designer / Project Coordinator to join our team in Cologne, MN! In this exciting dual role, you'll bring creative design visions to life while keeping projects running smoothly from concept to completion. • Develop and present interior design concepts, mood boards, and material selections for residential and/or commercial projects
• Coordinate project timelines, schedules, and milestones to ensure on-time delivery
• Communicate with clients to understand design needs, preferences, and budgets
• Collaborate with contractors, vendors, and subcontractors to align design intent with construction execution
• Source and specify materials, furnishings, fixtures, and finishes
• Conduct site visits to monitor progress and ensure design standards are met
• Manage project documentation, purchase orders, and change orders

• Degree or certification in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field preferred
• 2+ years of experience in interior design and/or project coordination
• Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, Sketch Up, or similar tools
• Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, and building codes
• Excellent organizational and time management skills with ability to juggle multiple projects
• Strong client-facing communication and presentation skills
• Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and able to work both independently and as part of a team
