The Interior Design Assistant is a full-time, hybrid role based in Pleasant Ridge, MI, with some flexibility for work from home. This team member supports designers in developing concepts, preparing floor plans, and assisting with space planning for client projects. Daily tasks include sourcing furniture and finishes, organizing design presentations, updating project documentation, and maintaining sample libraries. The role also involves communicating with vendors and clients, coordinating deliveries, and helping ensure projects stay on schedule and within budget.

The Interior Design Assistant collaborates closely with the design team to execute cohesive, well-detailed interiors from concept through installation.

• Strong foundation in Interior Design and understanding of design principles.
• Practical skills in Space Planning and creating accurate Floor Plans.
• Knowledge of Furniture selection, specifications, and layout.
• Effective Communication skills for collaborating with team members, clients, and vendors.
• Proficiency with design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Sketch Up, Revit, or similar) and basic MS Office or Google Workspace tools.
• Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Relevant education in Interior Design or a related field; internship or studio experience is preferred.
• Ability to work on site in Pleasant Ridge, MI
