Our client is a boutique NYC-based luxury hospitality architecture and design firm known for creating sophisticated, highly detailed hospitality environments. This is an excellent opportunity to join a design-focused team and contribute at a senior level on an active project.
Description:
Our client is seeking a Project Architect with 7+ years of professional experience in hospitality design for a 2–3 month project. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working independently while providing guidance and oversight to junior staff. Responsibilities will include reviewing and coordinating architectural drawing sets, checking drawings for accuracy and completeness, interpreting design intent, and helping ensure that documentation is developed to a high standard.
Strong attention to detail, organization, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced design environment are essential. This is a great opportunity for an experienced hospitality architect looking to step into a hands-on project role with a respected boutique studio.
Required:
• 7+ years of professional architecture experience, with a strong hospitality background
• AutoCAD
• Sketch Up
• Ability to manage and mentor junior staff
• Strong experience reviewing and checking architectural drawing sets
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and meet project deadlines
• Architectural registration is a major plus
Education:
Bachelor of Architecture
Salary / Hourly:
$50-75/hour
Duration:
2–3 months
Schedule:
Monday–Thursday in office;
Friday work from home
