The Architect will work full time in a hybrid capacity, primarily based in Minnetonka, MN, with flexibility for some work from home. Day-to-day responsibilities include developing architectural concepts, producing drawings and documentation, and coordinating design solutions that meet client requirements and code standards. The role involves collaborating with project managers, consultants, and contractors, reviewing construction documents, and supporting permitting and compliance activities.
The Architect will participate in project planning, monitor design progress against schedules and budgets, and assist with resolving design and technical issues during construction. The position also includes contributing to design presentations, maintaining organized project files, and supporting continuous improvement of design and project management processes.
- Candidates should possess strong Architecture and Architectural Design skills for planning, detailing, and coordinating building projects.
- Candidates should possess solid Project Management skills for scheduling, budgeting, and overseeing project deliverables.
- Candidates should possess experience with Integration and Software Development skills where relevant to design tools, workflows, or building systems coordination.
- Proficiency in architectural design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, Sketch Up, or similar) and standard office tools.
- Knowledge of building codes, standards, and permitting processes, with attention to detail and quality control.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment.
- Professional degree in Architecture or related field; architectural licensure or progress toward licensure is preferred.
- Experience in managing multiple projects and deadlines, with proven problem-solving and organizational abilities.
