Open Train is recruiting an Architectural Design Coordination Evaluator to create and review AI evaluation tasks based on architectural drawings, construction documents, and site photos. You will produce structured deliverables such as RFI responses, coordination comment sets, and marked-up drawing sets.

The work covers design coordination, drawing quality, constructability, and document review. You will apply consistent professional judgment so each task and expected answer reflects the standards of real architectural and construction coordination practice.

• Remote contractor position for candidates based in the United States.
• Pay ranges from $45 to $60 per hour, depending on experience.
• Default commitment is about 40 hours per week; the listed time requirement is 20 or more hours per week.
• English-language work.

You will author evaluation tasks from realistic architectural and construction coordination scenarios and produce the correct answer or expected deliverable for each task. You will also review documents and perform quality-control activities across design and construction workflows.

• Review architectural RFIs, drawing sets, details, and shop drawings.
• Identify cross-sheet conflicts, coordination issues, and constructability concerns.
• Produce RFI responses, coordination comments, and marked-up drawing sets.
• Perform drawing-set QC, technical peer review, redline back-checks, and design-change review.
• Work with addenda, as-built drawings, pre-bid scope, document control, commissioning design, interiors, millwork, and building-envelope details as applicable.
• Use professional architectural judgment to assess task quality and expected outputs.

You should have current or recent experience as an architect of record, project architect, job captain, or design coordination lead. An active architectural license is required, or at least eight years producing permit sets as a project architect or job captain may substitute for licensure.

You must have at least three years of experience producing and coordinating drawing sets in US model code jurisdictions. Eight or more years of experience is preferred. You must also be able to mark up drawing sets and details using Bluebeam Revu or an equivalent tool.

• Architectural licensure or equivalent permit-set authorship experience.
• Experience producing and coordinating permit and construction drawing sets in US model code jurisdictions.
• Ability to identify cross-sheet conflicts, constructability issues, and drawing-set quality problems.
• Practical experience with Bluebeam Revu or an equivalent markup tool.
• Experience with architectural set QC, redline back-checking, or technical peer review.
