Award-winning architecture firm Gluckman Tang Architects is seeking a full-time Architect or Architectural Designer to join our team. GTA is a 10-person firm located in New York City with a wide range of projects in type, scale and location. For this role, we are seeking architects or designers with an interest and experience in Interiors and Residential projects, but who are open to a broad range of project types including hospitality and cultural.

Qualified candidates should be passionate about design, sustainability, and creative problem-solving. Collaboration, organization, and communication skills are desired. A minimum of 3 years of professional architectural experience is required. Work experience examples should represent architectural thought processes, a strong design sense, and interest in growing technical building knowledge.
The role will include collaborating with and supporting teams in all phases of design and documentation, including concept design and development, design presentations, contract documents and construction administration.
Qualifications- Professional architectural degree from an accredited institution
- Strong design background (including physical model making, hand drawing, sketching, and conceptual digital modeling)
- Experience with developing drawing sets from Concept Design through Construction Documents
- Proficiency with Auto Cad and Revit. A minimum of three (3) years professional architectural experience including developing drawing sets using Revit is required.
- Proficiency with 3-D modeling and representation:
Rhino, Enscape, Vray and Adobe Creative Suite software. - Experience crafting client presentations including diagrams, reference image boards, and other illustrations.
- Experience resourcing and sourcing materials, samples, and systems.
- Experience creating FF&E documentation and specifications.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office software.
- Immediate availability and authorized to work in the US without the need for employer sponsorship.
