We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Kitchen & Bath Designer / Sales Consultant to work with homeowners, contractors, builders, and other residential customers from initial concept through completed design and sale.

This position combines creative design, technical planning, customer consultation, and consultative sales
. The ideal candidate has formal training or practical experience in kitchen, bath, interior, architectural, or related design and is comfortable using CAD-based design software to translate customer needs into functional, attractive, and accurate designs.

Experience with
Pro Kitchen is preferred. Candidates with experience using 2020 Design, DesignFLEX, or other CAD-based kitchen, bath, architectural, or interior design software will also be considered.

We are open to both entry-level candidates with strong design training and software skills and mid-level candidates with direct kitchen and bath design and sales experience
.

This is expected to be a hybrid position
, combining full working days in our Raleigh, North Carolina showroom with the flexibility to work from home on designated days, if desired. Showroom days will focus primarily on customer meetings, collaboration, product selection, and sales activities, while remote days can provide focused time for design development, revisions, proposals, and customer follow-up.

• Meet with homeowners, contractors, builders, and other customers to understand project objectives, style preferences, functional requirements, budget, and schedule.
• Guide customers through the complete design process from initial consultation and requirements gathering through design development, revisions, and final design approval

• Develop creative and practical kitchen and bathroom layouts that balance aesthetics, functionality, available space, product requirements, and customer budget.
• Use Pro Kitchen or similar CAD-based design software to prepare layouts, elevations, renderings, and related design documentation.
• Incorporate customer feedback, measurements, and field information into design revisions.
• Assist customers with cabinetry, finishes, storage solutions, hardware, and other product selections as appropriate.
• Review final designs with customers to ensure requirements and expectations have been addressed.
• Maintain accurate project information, specifications, selections, and design documentation throughout the sales and design process.
• Manage the customer relationship from initial inquiry through design, proposal, sale, and project handoff.
• Use a consultative sales approach to understand customer needs and recommend solutions that provide the best combination of design, function, quality, and value.
• Develop estimates, proposals, and product recommendations based on completed designs and customer requirements.
• Present designs and proposals confidently and professionally.
• Follow up consistently with prospective customers, answer questions, address concerns, and guide customers toward purchasing decisions.
• Develop strong working relationships with homeowners, contractors, builders, remodelers, and other trade professionals

• Identify opportunities for additional business, repeat customers, and referrals.
• Work toward individual and company sales, customer service, and profitability goals.

• Verify that designs and orders accurately reflect approved customer requirements.
• Coordinate with internal team members, vendors, contractors, and customers as necessary to move projects from design through ordering and fulfillment.
• Proactively identify potential design, specification, measurement, or ordering issues before projects are finalized.
• Communicate project changes, product considerations, lead times, and customer expectations clearly to the appropriate parties.
• Provide responsive follow-up and help resolve questions or issues that arise during the project.

• Education, training, or practical experience in kitchen and bath design, interior design, architectural design, drafting, construction, or a related field
