We are seeking an experienced Project BIM Lead to set up and manage Revit models for building engineering projects, providing the technical foundation designers and engineers need to develop building systems efficiently.
You will work closely with our BIM Department Manager while independently supporting multiple project teams. This position centers on Revit model setup, ongoing model management, and technical support
, with building systems design experience considered a plus.
- Set up initial Revit models for designers and engineers to begin design and building systems layouts.
- Configure project templates, linked models, coordinates, levels, grids, worksets, views, and sheets according to project requirements.
- Manage and maintain Revit models throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring consistent organization and reliable performance.
- Support project teams with Revit troubleshooting, model maintenance, and best practices.
- Manage work sharing workflows and coordinate updates to linked architectural, structural, and MEP models.
- Collaborate with the BIM Department Manager to apply company BIM standards and establish project-specific workflows.
- Review model health and resolve issues that affect team productivity or model usability.
- Independently prioritize BIM support needs across multiple projects and deadlines.
- Identify opportunities to improve model setup, documentation workflows, and team efficiency.
- Extensive experience using Autodesk Revit, ideally 8 or more years
. - Advanced knowledge of Revit project setup, model management, work sharing, and troubleshooting.
- Demonstrated experience preparing and maintaining models used by multidisciplinary design or engineering teams.
- Strong understanding of linked models, shared coordinates, worksets, templates, and view management.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating closely with a BIM manager and project teams.
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail and the ability to manage competing project priorities.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD.
- Experience supporting mechanical, electrical, and plumbing engineering teams.
- Building systems design experience.
- Familiarity with Autodesk Construction Cloud or BIM 360.
- Autodesk Revit certification.
