Position: Dermatopathologist - Part-time/Remote (Digital Pathology)

Job Description

We are searching for an experienced AP/CP Board Certified Dermatopathologist to join our busy multispecialty group. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a minimum of 5 years of dermatopathology experience, and proficiency in digital pathology sign‑out. General surgical pathology experience is preferred but not required.

  • Collaborate with 11 established pathologists to provide comprehensive care.
  • Work onsite with ancillary services: laboratory, radiology and infusion center.
  • Utilize a state‑of‑the‑art 50,000‑sq‑ft centralized laboratory for pathology, cytology and advanced diagnostics.
Requirements
  • NJ and NY State Medical License required.
  • Board Certification in Dermatopathology.
  • Minimum 4 + years of dermatopathology sign‑out experience.
  • Computer skills for digital pathology platform usage.
Responsibilities
  • Clinical Service
    • Sign‑out dermatopathology cases, focusing on high‑volume skin biopsies.
    • Provide expert diagnostics for skin biopsies, excisions, and complex consultation cases via digital pathology.
    • Consult on challenging cases: inflammatory dermatoses, cutaneous neoplasms, adnexal disorders.
    • Ensure compliant, timely sign‑outs per CAP/CLIA/NYS standards.
    • Contribute to laboratory quality assurance and protocol development.
    • Participate in tumor board discussions for relevant clinical cases.
Compensation

Range: $150,000 – $275,000, commensurate with experience, performance and location.
