The Department of Orthopaedic Surgery at Creighton University & CHI Health has hired a Department Chair specializing in Shoulder & Upper Extremity Surgery. The Orthopaedic Physician Assistant will support our Orthopaedic Chair in all clinical & surgical procedures.
This is a unique opportunity for a new graduate Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to work with and learn from a world class Orthopaedic Surgeon focusing on clinical and patient excellence. Our growing team consists of a multitude of sub-specialized orthopaedic physicians and advanced practice providers (APP).
The Orthopaedic Chair is an engaged and skilled physician - the selected candidate will benefit from learning how to expertly first assist, run an independent clinic, and eventually assist in teaching residents. The team additionally boasts support staff, offering high quality care to our patients. Dedicated service to our patients includes shoulder replacement surgery, seeing various fractures, scopes and stabilization, tendon/nerve damage & much more.
Operating room experience is not a requirement as our physician is willing to spend time teaching the qualified candidate with surgery desires.
